College and universities in the University System of ߲ are committed to ensuring that all students have access to the necessary resources to make their college experience a successful one!
We understand that many students who have experienced foster care or homelessness may be looking for a fresh start in a new place. Our goal is to make your transition as easy as possibly by providing access to appropriate resources, services and connections. Each University System of ߲ institution has a designated campus Foster and Homeless Youth Support Contact who is there to help interested prospective and current students connect with appropriate resources. Of course, any services provided or connections made are strictly confidential. Additional services are being developed that may include intersession housing, scholarships, and more depending on the specific institution. No one knows what you need better than you so we encourage you to reach out to the support contact for your institution of choice and they will work to identify the resources on campus or in the community to help you.
